To get a Skillshare receipt, log in and go to Account Settings, then Membership & Payments. Click the link to the payment settings portal, ask for access and open the portal link Skillshare emails you. Under Invoice History, pick the date of the invoice and download it. If you subscribed with PayPal, your payment history is in your PayPal account instead.

- Log in to Skillshare.
- Open Account Settings, then Membership & Payments.
- Click the payment settings portal link.
- Choose to log in to manage your account, then Send.
- Open the portal link in your email.
- Under Invoice History, select the invoice date and download it.
The emailed link is the step people miss. Use the inbox tied to your Skillshare account, since the link goes there.
Paid with PayPal
Skillshare says membership and payment details for PayPal subscribers are tracked through PayPal. The portal above is for credit card subscriptions, and Skillshare cannot customize an invoice for a PayPal subscription because PayPal is a third party.
The email receipt and tax
After any Skillshare purchase, an email receipt arrives with the membership cost and the tax listed separately. Skillshare collects VAT, GST or sales tax on first purchases, renewals and one-off purchases, at a rate set by your jurisdiction from billing and account information. Questions about the rate go to help@skillshare.com, and a tax exemption certificate can be submitted by contacting Skillshare.
Asking for a custom invoice
Credit card subscribers who need extra details on the document, such as a company name for an employer, can contact Skillshare with exactly what the custom invoice should show. Organizations buying several memberships can also ask about special pricing through Skillshare's bulk purchase request.
