To get a Globe and Mail receipt, log in at tgam.ca/mysubscription, select Manage Subscription for the subscription, then choose Billing & Payment details and Continue. On the Billing Details screen, click View Payment History, pick a date range with the calendars and click View. The Download button saves a copy. Standalone Globe2Go subscribers use a different account page.
View Payment History, the receipt lookup
- Log in at tgam.ca/mysubscription.
- Under the Subscriptions header, select Manage Subscription for the right subscription.
- From the drop-down menu, choose Billing & Payment details, then Continue.
- On Billing Details, click View Payment History.
- Set the date range and click View, then Download.
The date range is the useful part: set it to a full calendar year and one download covers the whole year of payments for your records.
Globe2Go subscribers
For a standalone Globe2Go subscription, log in at globeandmail.com/globe2go, click the silhouette with your name in the top right corner, then MY ACCOUNT. Open the SUBSCRIPTION tab, and under PAYMENT HISTORY click the payment details to get each receipt.
The digital news subscription tax credit
The Globe's help centre notes that the digital news subscription tax credit covered qualifying subscriptions paid by individuals from 2020 to 2024 only, and is not available for 2025 onward. Receipts remain available through the steps above. If you are still filing for one of those years, the Globe lists its Qualified Canadian Journalism Organization number as Q2300382.
Team subscriptions
The Globe Professional team subscription is billed on a single annual invoice, and the group administrator can add or change members at any time. Questions about that invoice go to the address listed on the group subscriptions page.
Globe and Mail payments kept for the year
A newspaper subscription bills quietly in the background, and the receipt only matters when an employer or an accountant asks for it. Link your Globe account and our AI agent handles the Manage Subscription clicks, saving each receipt from Payment History through bill fetching. Payment emails from the Globe are filed by email receipt capture, and both versions are ready at tax time.
