How to get a Financial Times receipt

To get a Financial Times receipt or invoice, go to My Account on FT.com and click View and manage your payments in the Subscription box. Your billing information opens, with every previous transaction listed under Payments. Select Download next to the payment you need. The FT's help page describes this for Print and Print + Premium Digital subscriptions, and Customer Care handles anything the page doesn't show.
Payments in My Account, the lookup
- Sign in and open My Account.
- In the Subscription box, click View and manage your payments.
- Under Payments, find the transaction.
- Select Download to save the receipt or invoice.
The same box is where the FT tells you to check recent payments if a charge looks wrong, which makes it the one place to reconcile your card statement against the FT.
When the FT charges you
Digital, Print and Print + Premium Digital subscriptions renew automatically on the term you chose: monthly, quarterly or annually. The View and manage your payments page shows when the next payment is due. Newspaper subscribers are charged automatically as well; the FT's answer on paying a print bill is simply to keep the card details current.
Updating billing details
For a Print or Print + Premium Digital subscription, open My Account and click Manage your billing details in the Subscription box. Card details sit under Payment details. In the UK, subscribers paying by Direct Debit need Customer Care to change their billing details.
A charge you don't recognise
Check recent payments first, through View and manage your payments. If it still isn't clear, contact Customer Care by live chat or phone. From Canada, the help centre lists +1 855 685 2372 for digital queries and +1 800 628 8088 for print.
Team and organisation access
The FT also sells access for teams, whole organisations, students and institutions. Those are arranged with the FT directly rather than through a personal My Account.
FT receipts collected on every renewal
An annual FT subscription is one of the larger news costs a business pays, and the receipt is needed once a year at most. After every FT renewal, our AI agent uses your login to grab the new document from Payments through bill fetching. Payment emails from the FT go to email receipt capture, and the subscription lands on the expense report with its renewal date attached.
