How to get a SimpliSafe invoice

SimpliSafe monitoring invoices are in the SimpliSafe Online Account at webapp.simplisafe.com, not in the phone app. On a computer, open Manage Account from the left menu, scroll to Monitoring Payments and click an invoice number to open it. For a copy of a specific invoice that the list does not show, SimpliSafe asks you to contact its support team.
Monitoring Payments: the invoice lookup
- Sign in to the SimpliSafe Online Account in a desktop browser. The mobile app does not show this menu.
- Select Manage Account, listed under your email address in the left navigation.
- Scroll down the Account page to Monitoring Payments.
- Click an invoice number to view that invoice.
- Use the page selector at the bottom right of the section to reach older invoices.
Guard, permit and false alarm fees
Not every SimpliSafe charge sits in that list. In markets where SimpliSafe uses a guard service, a dispatch costs $75 in most covered areas and $86.81 in Milwaukee, billed only when a guard is actually sent. Dispatch and permit fees are invoiced apart from the monthly monitoring bill. SimpliSafe also warns that some permit and false alarm fine or fee invoices may not appear in the web app at all. Ask support for those and keep them with the property they belong to.
One login, several locations
A SimpliSafe account can carry more than one location, each with its own monitoring subscription. You can keep several cards on file and decide which card pays for which location. In the app, open the menu, then Plan & Billing and Payment Methods, pick a card, tap Add Subscription and select the locations it should cover. In the Online Account, choose Monitoring and edit the Credit Card field in the blue banner.
Paying for monitoring
SimpliSafe's help pages describe paying for monitoring with the card set as the default for each location; there is no separate bill to pay by hand. Changing the default card is the payment task they cover. Even though the charge happens on its own, an invoice is still created for it in Monitoring Payments, and that invoice is the record to keep for each location.
SimpliSafe invoices collected per location
Clicking through invoice numbers a page at a time is fine for one home and slow for six rentals. Connect the SimpliSafe Online Account and our AI agent signs in, opens each new monitoring invoice and files it to the right location through bill fetching. Dispatch and permit invoices that arrive by email go through email receipt capture, and the year of monitoring costs is ready for tax time.
