Ring

Ring Protect invoices are downloaded from ring.com, not from the Ring app. Sign in as the account owner, open Account (or the menu icon on a phone), choose Billing History and select View Invoice beside a charge to get a PDF. A plan bought through Amazon shows View on Amazon instead, and its invoice sits in that Amazon account.

Billing History: the Ring invoice lookup

  1. Sign in to your Ring account on ring.com.
  2. On a computer, click Account at the top right. In a phone or tablet browser, tap the menu icon at the top left.
  3. Select Billing History for subscription charges, or Order History for devices bought on ring.com.
  4. Select View Invoice to download the PDF.

Ring writes these steps for the account owner and says billing and order history are not available in the app.

Ring Home is now Ring Protect

Ring renamed its Ring Home plans to Ring Protect plans in 2026. Subscriptions moved over automatically with the same features and no added charge, and Ring says videos and settings were left as they were. Invoices from before the change may carry the older plan name, which matters when you match a full year of charges.

Several charges on the same day

Each camera or doorbell on a Solo plan is its own subscription. When several Solo plans started on the same date, they renew together and show up as separate charges. Check Plan in the account to see renewal dates and how many subscriptions you hold. Extra Events are billed apart from both the Ring plan and Virtual Security Guard.

Paying for Ring Protect and keeping renewals going

Ring subscriptions accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and renew on the payment method saved to the account. If a renewal fails, Ring retries the charge. When the payment keeps failing, the subscription is cancelled 21 days after the first failed attempt. A renewal that goes through on its own still has an invoice behind it in Billing History, and that PDF is the record an accountant will ask for.

Ring invoices saved at every renewal

A building with a dozen doorbells on Solo plans produces a dozen invoices on different dates. Connect your ring.com login and our AI agent opens Billing History after each renewal, downloads every invoice PDF and files it through bill fetching. Device orders confirmed by email go through email receipt capture, and staff who buy a camera for a site can attach the invoice to an expense report.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The account owner can open Billing History on ring.com and select View Invoice beside any subscription charge to download a PDF. The Ring app does not show it.

Billing History shows View on Amazon for those plans. The invoice is in the Amazon account that bought the subscription.

Ring retries the charge. If it keeps failing, the subscription is cancelled 21 days after the first failed payment. Update the card or try another one before then.

Each device on a Solo plan is billed as its own subscription. Plans that began on the same date renew on the same date. The Plan page lists them.
