Cove does not send invoices. Its help center says it only offers automatic payments, with no paper or email invoice option. The record of what you paid is the payment history on the Billing page of the Cove Customer Portal, and for a downloadable copy of that history Cove asks you to chat with an agent.
Payment history lookup on the Billing page
Log in to the Customer Portal and open Billing. The top of the page tells you whether you are all caught up, have a balance due or have a monitoring credit. Click View Payment History for a breakdown of past charges and payment dates. That screen is the closest thing Cove has to a statement. Save a copy for your records, or ask an agent for the downloadable version.
Why there is no Cove invoice to download
Cove answers the direct-invoice question plainly: at this time it can only offer auto payments. A business or landlord who needs a vendor document for every payment should plan around that gap. Request the downloadable billing history from an agent at least once a year and keep it beside the card or bank statement that shows the charges.
Paying, paying early and automatic charges
Cove charges your primary payment method automatically on the billing date. When a balance is due, the Billing page shows Make a Payment; when you are current, it shows Make an Early Payment. Click Confirm Payment and wait for the confirmation message. If none appears, check your bank for a pending charge before trying again. Bulk payments are taken by phone at 855-268-3669 or by chat, with the card on file. With no email to show for it, the payment history entry is the record of each automatic charge.
Billing date and payment methods
On the Billing tab, Change Payment Date lets you choose a new date. If that date has already passed this month, the next bill includes a prorated amount. Click Save New Date to confirm. The Payment Methods section lists each card or ACH account with its type, last four digits and expiry. Cove recommends an ACH account to avoid credit card processing fees, and at least one method must stay on file.
A Cove paper trail you build yourself
With no invoice in the inbox, Cove charges are easy to miss at year end. When an agent sends the downloadable billing history, forward it to email receipt capture and it is filed with the rest of the property's costs. A manager who pays a Cove plan on a personal card can claim it through expense reports, and the yearly total is in place for tax time.
