How to get a Safelite receipt

Your Safelite receipt is in two places: on mysafelite.com, where the appointment details include the receipt, and in your confirmation email. Keep one of them, because every claim under Safelite's nationwide lifetime warranty requires a copy of your receipt.
Receipt lookup on mysafelite.com
Open mysafelite.com and pull up your appointment. The appointment details hold the receipt, and the same customer portal lets you pay in advance after you book. If you booked with an email address, search your inbox for the confirmation email too.
Warranty claims need the receipt
- The lifetime warranty covers glass replacement against defects in material or workmanship for as long as you own or lease the vehicle.
- You must tell Safelite within 30 days of discovering a defect, and Safelite inspects the vehicle before approving a claim.
- The warranty does not transfer to a new owner or lessee.
- Repairs are covered against continued cracking. If more damage spreads from the repair point, the repair cost is credited toward a Safelite replacement.
- Recalibration is guaranteed for 30 days or until the next recalibration event, and wipers carry a six-month warranty for the original buyer.
Claims go through mysafelite.com, customer.care@safelite.com, a call or text to 1-866-212-5457, or the store that did the work.
Insurance claims and your deductible
With comprehensive coverage, you pay only your deductible, and Safelite's affiliate Safelite Solutions handles glass programs for more than 150 insurers. Safelite can verify coverage and file the claim for you. If you are handling the claim yourself, call or text 800-800-2727 with the claim number after you schedule. When an insurer paid for a repair and you later choose a replacement, the insurer may get the credit and you may still owe the deductible. Your receipt is how you show what you paid out of pocket.
Payment methods and Afterpay
Safelite accepts cash, checks, major credit cards and Apple Pay, plus Afterpay in four interest-free installments over six weeks. With Afterpay, the payment schedule lives on afterpay.com, not on the Safelite receipt. A fully refunded order cancels the remaining payments and returns those already made to your card within one to three business days.
Safelite receipts for company vehicles
A cracked windshield on a delivery van is a deductible, an insurance claim and a warranty that lasts as long as the van stays in the fleet. Email receipt capture files each Safelite confirmation email the moment it arrives. Bill fetching has our AI agent sign in to mysafelite.com and save the receipt from each appointment, and expense reports tie the deductible to the right vehicle.
