How to get Lyft ride receipts

To get a Lyft receipt, open the app menu, tap Ride history and select the ride. Lyft also emails each receipt once the ride's payment is processed, within 24 hours. For a month of work rides, tap Export in Ride history and Lyft sends every selected receipt in one Ride Report email.
One ride
- Open the app menu and tap Ride history.
- Tap the ride to see its receipt. Each ride also shows a map of the route.
A month of rides in one email
- In Ride history, tap Export at the top right on iPhone, or the download icon on Android.
- Select the rides you want.
- Lyft sends a Ride Report email with the receipts for all of them.
This is the quickest way to gather a month of work rides for an expense report.
How far back it goes
Ride history goes back to October 2014. For anything older, contact Lyft support from the help center.
Rides that look wrong or missing
- A ride only shows in Ride history once its payment has been processed.
- A ride paid entirely with credits shows a total of $0.00.
- Tips are charged separately to your preferred payment method.
- Cancellation fees do not appear in Ride history. Damage fees do.
Business profiles
A business profile in the Lyft app keeps work rides apart from personal ones. When you ride on it, Lyft can forward each receipt to your company's expense tool. Lyft lists integrations with Abacus, Certify, Chrome River, Concur, Expensify, Nexonia, Rydoo and Zoho Expense.
Lyft Business programs
If your company runs a Lyft Business program, admins can have transaction reports emailed daily, weekly or monthly, or download them from the Lyft Business Portal. The previous month's report is ready on the first day of the next month. Monthly statements and receipts go to one reporting contact per program, who needs admin permissions. A shared email list is the usual way to get them to more than one person.
Lyft receipts without the export step
Lyft sends a receipt email for every ride, which makes it easy to automate. Email receipt capture picks each one up from Gmail, Outlook or Zoho and reads the date, fare and tip. The Ride Report export becomes optional. If your receipts go to a personal address you would rather not connect, link your Lyft account instead and let our AI agent sign in and fetch each ride's receipt from Ride history with bill fetching. Either route feeds straight into expense reports.
