How to get a Meijer receipt

Meijer shows in-store receipts online when you entered your mPerks at checkout or paid with a linked payment method: open the person icon on Meijer.com or in the app, choose My Orders & Receipts, then In-Store Receipts. Meijer's help page puts the online history at about the past two years. At the Service Desk, a return without a receipt starts with Meijer trying to find the original transaction; if it cannot, you get a Meijer Merchandise Return Card.

Meijer receipt lookup online

  1. On Meijer.com or in the Meijer app, select the person icon in the upper right.
  2. Choose My Orders & Receipts.
  3. Pick the In-Store Receipts tab, or Online Orders for pickup and delivery.
  4. Find the purchase and select View. To print an online order, press Ctrl + P or print to PDF.

A short receipt printed at checkout lists only the most expensive item. The full version is still online, and the Service Desk can pull it up from the short one.

A duplicate from the Service Desk

If the trip is not online, the Service Desk at the location of purchase can print a duplicate within 21 days, counting the purchase date, when you paid by credit card, debit card, EBT card or check. This covers Meijer stores, pharmacies and gas stations. A cash purchase made without mPerks cannot be duplicated.

Meijer returns without a receipt

  • Meijer first tries to look up your receipt. Transactions from the past 90 days can be found if your mPerks number was entered or you paid by credit, debit, EBT or personal check.
  • Valid physical ID is required and recorded.
  • The value is based on the lowest sale or promotional price in the past 90 days.
  • The refund comes on a Meijer Merchandise Return Card instead of your original tender.
  • mPerks rewards and points are never refunded on returns.

Groceries, Meijer brand and general merchandise

Consumable food items get a full refund with or without a receipt, except state-approved WIC items, which are exchanged for the identical item. Anything carrying the Meijer brand can also come back with or without a receipt. General merchandise has 90 days, while electronics without data storage, books, photos and gas-powered equipment have 30. Nursery stock and pet fish need a receipt. Returns can go to any Meijer, at the Service Desk between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
