How to get a Lime ride receipt

When a Lime ride ends, Lime emails a receipt to the address on your account. For a copy, open the menu from the map view in the Lime app, tap History, select the ride and tap Detailed receipt. From there you can have the receipt resent to your email or download it as a PDF.
History: the ride lookup
- From the Map view, open the Lime app menu.
- Tap History.
- Select the ride.
- Tap Detailed receipt, then send it by email or download the PDF.
History also lists other purchases, such as adding Lime Cash to your account or buying a LimePass Minute Bundle. Those top-ups are separate from the rides they pay for, which matters when you claim both.
Missing receipt emails
Receipts go to the email linked to your account. If they stop arriving, check your spam or junk folder first. To add or change the email, go to Settings in the app menu, which also shows the email or phone number tied to your account.
Requesting a tax invoice
Lime says the tax information you need is usually on the receipts in History. For something more formal, submit a request for a tax invoice with:
- Whether it is for a business or an individual.
- The business or individual's name and address.
- The VAT or GST number, if there is one.
- The date and cost of the trip.
Matching your bank statement
Several rides can be grouped into one transaction on your bank statement. When a charge does not match a single ride, compare it with the cost of each ride in History.
Lime rides filed without screenshots
Scooter and e-bike rides between meetings rarely make it onto a claim by hand. Email receipt capture collects each Lime receipt from your inbox as rides end. Connect your Lime account and our AI agent can also sign in and pull the History receipts with bill fetching, ready for your expense reports.
