How to get a Citi Bike receipt

Citi Bike emails a receipt automatically when each trip ends, with a full breakdown of the ride cost. To see it again, open the app, tap the three lines at the top left, go to Ride history, and review the trip or resend its receipt. You cannot opt out of these receipt emails.
Ride history: the lookup
Ride history in the app lists past trips with their details. Citi Bike suggests using receipts to track spending, recall ride details, or confirm a ride ended properly.
Extra time and other charges
An unexpected amount usually comes from extra time. Single Rides and Day Passes include the first 30 minutes of each ride, and annual members get the first 45 minutes; longer rides add a per-minute fee. A bike out for more than 24 hours is treated as lost or stolen and can bring a replacement charge. A kiosk purchase also places a temporary hold on your card, which is not a final charge.
How membership fees are billed
An annual membership renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal, and it can be paused for up to 12 weeks once per cycle. Usage fees for members are billed at the start of each calendar month.
The receipt as proof a ride ended
Because the receipt email goes out when a trip ends, its arrival is a quick sign the bike was docked. No email after a ride is the cue to open Ride history and check the trip before extra minutes pile up.
Citi Bike receipts filed with your commute
Bike share rides between offices are cheap one at a time and add up over a month. Email receipt capture picks up every Citi Bike ride receipt from your inbox, and a membership renewal receipt can go through the same route. With your Citi Bike login connected, our AI agent can sign in and collect ride history through bill fetching for your expense reports.
