How to get a Klaviyo invoice

Steps to download

1. Click the organization name in the bottom left.
2. Select Billing, then Payments & Invoices.
3. If a drop-down appears, pick Credit card invoices or Contract invoice.
4. Find the row and click Download.

Card invoices open as a PDF in a new tab, while contract invoices save to your device. Click the arrow beside an invoice date to see its invoice ID.

Filtering a long history

Invoices are issued for renewals and for plan changes, which means a busy month can hold several. Filter by date range, from the last 30 days to all time, and by status. On the redesigned page you can also filter card invoices by reason: Auto-renewal, Subscription, Auto-upgrade, Flex or Auto-downgrade. Filtering on Auto-upgrade is the fastest way to explain a month with two charges.

What the PDF shows

Each PDF lists your organization's name, billing address and email. Card invoices also show the last four digits of the card charged, and the tax line shows the rate and amount.

Company name and address

To change the name on invoices, go to Billing, Preferences, enter it in Company name under Billing address, and click Update billing address. That needs permission to edit billing and only affects future invoices. Manually billed customers ask their Klaviyo representative, and child accounts cannot change the billing name themselves.

Sales tax after a move

Sales tax is calculated on the discounted price when a discount applies. If an outdated billing address caused tax on past invoices, Klaviyo cannot refund that tax. Updating the address only corrects future invoices.
