How to get a FlixBus invoice

FlixBus sends an invoice by email automatically for every booking. To download it again, log in to Manage My Booking and open the Invoice section. If you need a company name or address on it, tick Add billing address during checkout, or add one later from the same Invoice section, as long as the ride has not happened yet.
The Invoice section in Manage My Booking
Manage My Booking is FlixBus's tool for everything after checkout: correcting mistakes, changing or cancelling, managing seat reservations, updating the billing address and downloading the invoice. You need the 10-digit booking number, which appears on the confirmation screen, in the confirmation email and in the ticket details in the app.
Adding or changing the billing address
- Log in to Manage My Booking.
- Open the Invoice section.
- Click Change billing address.
FlixBus then issues a new invoice. That new document shows no ticket price and a total of 0, because only the billing details changed and nothing new was paid. Keep both: the original carries the amount, the new one carries the address.
Do it before the ride
Invoice changes are only possible before the trip. Once the ride is completed, FlixBus no longer accepts amendments. If your employer needs its name on the invoice, add it at booking or right after, not when you file the expense claim.
Tickets bought offline
Tickets bought at a FlixShop or a reseller cost the same fare plus an agency fee, and they can be paid in cash.
FlixBus invoices collected for you
The FlixBus invoice comes as an email attachment, and email receipt capture pulls it straight from your inbox with the route and fare. Our AI agent can also sign in to Manage My Booking and grab the latest invoice after a billing address change through bill fetching. That way the right version reaches your expense report.
