Evo

Evo trip charges show up in your account a few minutes after the trip ends. Log in at evo.ca and click Billing to see each trip summary and its charges, usually within 5 to 10 minutes of a properly ended trip. Charges go to the credit card on file. Business accounts get one itemized invoice at the end of every month instead.

Billing: your trip lookup

Every trip that ends properly gets a summary under Billing with what was charged. Evo says the summary appears after a trip properly ends. A trip that is still missing after 10 minutes may not have closed.

Taxes on an Evo trip

Evo's FAQ says trips are subject to GST, PST and PVRT, British Columbia's passenger vehicle rental tax. PVRT is applied automatically once a trip reaches 8 hours, then again for each further 24-hour period. A short hop across town carries GST and PST; a day trip also picks up PVRT.

Business accounts

A business account bills every member's trips to one company credit card with one itemized invoice at month end, paid by automatic card payment or EFT. Team members can add trip notes in the app, and those notes appear on the monthly invoice, which saves a separate memo for each client visit.

Fuel you paid for

On a longer trip you may need to refuel yourself. Pay any way you like, then email the receipt and the car's licence plate to info@evo.ca. Evo refunds you by e-transfer, or, if you write CREDIT in the subject line, adds driving credit worth the fuel total plus 15% to your account. Either way, keep the fuel receipt: it is the proof Evo asks for.

Evo trips on record

Evo charges trip by trip, and a busy week of car share can mean a dozen small card lines. Connect your Evo account and our AI agent signs in and saves every trip summary through bill fetching. Snap the fuel receipt with the receipt scanner before you email it to Evo, and both sides of the trip meet on your expense report.
