How to get a Chewy invoice

To get a Chewy invoice, use a desktop browser: sign in, select Order history in your account, open Order details for the order and click the Invoice link in the top right-hand corner. The invoice opens in a new window, ready to print or save as a PDF. Chewy points people here whether the invoice is for a pet insurance claim, a donation receipt or anything else.
Order history, Chewy's invoice lookup
- Sign in to your Chewy account on a computer.
- In your account, select Order history.
- Choose Order details for the order.
- Click Invoice in the top right-hand corner.
The invoice is per order. A big food order and a one-off toy bought the same week are two separate documents. Pull each one.
Saving it as a PDF
On a desktop, use your browser's print option, or right-click the page, then choose print to PDF or save as PDF. That gives you a clean file instead of a screenshot.
On a phone or iPad
Chewy's own instruction for mobile is a screenshot of the invoice. If the page doesn't format properly, zoom out until the whole invoice fits on screen and capture it again. For anything you will submit to an insurer or an accountant, the desktop PDF reads better.
Pet insurance claims and donations
Chewy names two common reasons people need the invoice: filing a pet insurance claim and documenting a donation. Both usually call for an itemized record from the seller rather than a card statement line. The invoice is that record, and it is the document Chewy tells you to use. Chewy's help center also has separate articles on each topic.
If the invoice link is missing
Chewy's help line runs 24/7 at 1-800-672-4399. Have the order ready from Order history when you call or chat.
Chewy invoices archived without the desktop step
Repeat food orders mean a steady stream of invoices, each behind the same four clicks on a computer. Connect your Chewy account and our AI agent opens Order history and saves every invoice as a file through bill fetching. Shipping and order emails are filed by email receipt capture, and the invoices sit ready at tax time next to the rest of the year's receipts.
