How to get a Certn invoice

On monthly billing, Certn sends an invoice on the first calendar day of each month for the previous month's completed checks. It goes by email to the accounting contact saved in your team's Billing tab, and the amount is charged to the card on file unless you arranged EFT. Every credit card transaction also gets a receipt by email.
Monthly or pre-pay billing
Monthly billing is the default for clients in Canada, the United States and Australia. Pre-pay is the default in the United Kingdom and charges the card as soon as an order is placed. To pay monthly invoices by EFT, contact Certn support for the details needed to add Certn as a vendor with your bank.
Invoice lookup in the Billing tab
Open the User menu, choose Settings, then Team Settings for the team, and go to the Billing tab. Admins enter the accounting contact there and can add more addresses, which are copied on each invoice email. The detailed CSV of checks behind each invoice is downloaded from this tab, since it is no longer attached to the monthly email.
What changes on CertnCentric
Certn is moving clients from its Legacy platform to CertnCentric. During the transition you may receive two invoices, one per platform, and all of them can be viewed and paid in the CertnCentric Invoice section. Accounts with several teams get billing profiles, set up to match Legacy billing by default.
Daily pay for former pre-pay accounts
Once fully on CertnCentric, pre-pay is replaced by daily pay. The card is validated for the upfront amount when you order, and at the end of each day a case closes you receive an invoice with automatic payment. That invoice lists the checks and pass-through access fees together, with a usage breakdown by email and in the portal. For a custom invoicing setup, write to billing@certn.co.
Certn invoices matched to each hire
Daily invoices and a separate usage file make screening costs hard to follow. Our AI agent can sign in to Certn with your login and save each invoice and usage CSV through bill fetching. Card receipts in your inbox are filed by email receipt capture, and each check is charged to the role in expense reports.
