To get a Budget car rental receipt, open Budget's Car Rentals e-Receipts page, choose the country you rented in, and enter your last name and the confirmation or rental agreement number. If you have a Budget profile, you can log in and open Past Rentals instead. The receipt opens as a PDF you can save or print.
The e-Receipts page
- On budget.com, open Get e-Receipt.
- Choose the country where you picked up the car.
- Enter your last name and either the confirmation number or the rental agreement number.
- Select Get Receipt.
The confirmation number is on the booking email; the rental agreement number is on the paperwork you got at the counter. Either one works in the same field.
From your Budget profile
Renting with a Budget profile? Log in and open the Past Rentals page, where each completed rental has its receipt. This is the easier route when you rent often, since you do not need to keep the numbers.
Adding miles or points
Budget lets you add airline miles or partner points while you view the receipt. If you forgot to give your loyalty number at the counter, the receipt page is where to catch it up.
What to keep for an expense claim
Keep the receipt, not the reservation confirmation. The confirmation shows the estimate you booked; the receipt shows what you paid after fuel, extras and taxes, which is the number an expense report or a bookkeeper needs.
Budget receipts filed after every trip
The Budget receipt lives behind a lookup form or your Past Rentals page, and it is easy to forget once you are home. Connect your Budget profile and our AI agent signs in, picks up each receipt from Past Rentals and saves it, through bill fetching. If the receipt reaches your inbox, email receipt capture files that copy instead, and the rental joins the rest of the trip on the expense report.
