How to get a BJ's receipt

Receipt lookup in your BJs.com account

Sign in on BJs.com or in the app and open your order history. BJ's help names both the website account and the app as ways in, and either one shows the same purchases. The windows differ: a year for online orders, about six months for club purchases. Save club receipts you need for longer before they drop off.

Purchases older than the window

Use the request link on BJ's help article for online orders placed more than 12 months ago or in-club purchases more than 180 days old. Members can only request receipts for items bought on their own membership number.

At the Member Services desk

A manager at your local club can look up your purchase history in person at the Member Services desk, without going through the online request.

Why one order shows several card holds

BJ's places an authorization hold when you order; it is not a charge. Orders that ship in several shipments or use different methods, such as same-day delivery, ship to home and curbside pickup, can show more than one hold. Substitutions or added items on same-day and pickup orders can add another pending hold. Once the order is fulfilled, the holds drop and a single final charge posts. You are charged only for items received.

BJ's receipts kept past 180 days

Club receipts leave the online window after 180 days, sooner than most tax years close. Scan the paper receipt at the register with the receipt scanner, or let our AI agent sign in to BJs.com and save each receipt while it is still listed through bill fetching. Office managers buying breakroom supplies on a personal membership can then submit them on an expense report. Each scan keeps the club purchase searchable long after BJ's own window has closed.
