How to get a BigCommerce invoice

Reaching the Account Dashboard

Sign in directly at manage.bigcommerce.com, or from the store control panel click the store name and pick Manage store account. Staff accounts do not see it, even with broad control panel permissions. If your bookkeeper needs the invoices, the owner downloads them or makes sure the Billing Contact email reaches the right inbox.

Archived invoice lookup

Stores moved off BigCommerce's legacy billing system keep their older invoices behind an Archived Invoices link on the Invoices page. Check there first when an older month seems missing from the main list.

Stores set up through a partner

A store onboarded through a partner, which BigCommerce calls a Powered By store, has no invoice section in the Account Dashboard and receives no invoices from BigCommerce. Billing in that case runs through the partner.

Paying when the automatic charge fails

Charges are normally taken automatically from the payment method on file. If one fails, pay it yourself:

1. In the Account Dashboard, open Account, then Payment method.
2. Click Edit, enter the card or account details and click Save.
3. Click Pay Now.

The method you save becomes the one used for future charges. A billing address that does not match the card makes payments fail; correct it under Account details by editing the billing contact. After repeated failures, a card can be blocked for 24 to 48 hours. Merchants in India always pay manually, through a link in the reminder email sent before the billing date. BigCommerce staff will never ask for payment details, and support cannot edit your payment method.

BigCommerce invoices collected without the owner

Because only the owner can open the Account Dashboard, invoices tend to stall with one person. Route the Billing Contact email into email receipt capture so each invoice is filed for the team.
