Receipts and invoices

To find an Apple receipt, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, or open Purchase History from your account in the App Store on an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Every App Store purchase, in-app purchase and subscription such as iCloud+ is listed there, even when the emailed receipt is gone. One card charge can cover several purchases.

On the web

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
  2. Browse the list, or search for the amount if you are trying to identify a charge on your statement.
  3. Open the purchase to see the full receipt.

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the App Store and tap your photo at the top right.
  2. Tap Apps & Purchase History, then Purchase History.
  3. The list shows the last 90 days. Tap Last 90 days to choose a longer range.

On a Mac or a Windows PC

On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Apps & Purchase History and Purchase History. On Windows, open the Apple Music or Apple TV app, click your name, choose View My Account and scroll to Purchase History.

One charge, several purchases

Apple may group several purchases and subscription renewals into a single charge, which is why the amount on your card statement does not always match one item. The receipt for that charge lists each one. Apple notes you might not get a separate email receipt for each purchase in a grouped charge.

Charges from your family

A charge you do not recognize can come from a member of your Family Sharing group. If you are the organizer, choose the All view at reportaproblem.apple.com to see their purchases. A receipt tied to a different Apple Account needs you to sign in to that account.

If the purchase is not there

  • Check whether you were signed in with a different Apple Account when you bought it.
  • Search your email for "receipt from Apple" or "invoice from Apple". The receipt shows what was bought and which account was used.
  • Still stuck? Contact Apple Support.

Asking for a refund

At reportaproblem.apple.com, choose Request a refund, give a reason and select the item. A pending charge cannot be refunded yet. Apple says to allow 24 to 48 hours for an update, and an approved refund can take longer to reach your card.

Hardware from the Apple Store

For a Mac or iPhone bought online from Apple, the invoice is on the order's page in Apple's online Order Status, where you can print it.

Keeping Apple charges straight for work

Software and storage bought through Apple for work need a receipt like any other expense, and grouped charges make that harder. Apple's receipt emails are the cleanest record: email receipt capture reads each "receipt from Apple" message in your inbox and lists every item in a grouped charge. Subscription tracking then shows each Apple renewal next to your other recurring charges before it bills again, which is often how people find the iCloud plan nobody uses.
