Namecheap treats the receipt issued at the time of purchase as the official, legally controlling record of an order. It does not issue invoices before a purchase.
Finding and saving a receipt
- Sign in and choose Billing from the Profile menu.
- In History, select View All for Your Orders or Your Transactions.
- Filter by date range, product, or order or transaction ID.
- On the order page, choose Print, Resend Receipt or Download PDF.
Get the details right at checkout
Namecheap cannot update the information on receipts that have already been generated. Your receipt details are set during checkout, on the Order Review page under Payment Details. If the receipt needs your company name or address, enter it there before you pay.
VAT and your billing address
Namecheap may charge VAT based on the country in your billing address, and the amount appears at checkout. Changing your billing address before a purchase changes the tax on it, not on orders already placed.
Auto-renewals
With auto-renew on, Namecheap renews domains and hosting when they come due and charges your saved payment method. Each renewal is its own order with its own receipt in Billing History. Update cards under Profile, Billing, Payment Cards.
Apps services
Order receipts cannot be downloaded for Apps services. Contact Namecheap's billing team by live chat or at billing@namecheap.com. The same team can provide an invoice for a hosting renewal you want to pay early.
