How to download an ENMAX bill

ENMAX bills are in your ENMAX online account. Sign in, open the menu, choose Billing, then View my bill, and use the download feature beside any bill to save it as a PDF. The account lets you compare up to 24 months of billing history. For bills older than the list shows, ENMAX asks you to chat with its team.
Easymax, Rate of Last Resort and municipal services
ENMAX accounts fall into two payment groups. Easymax is ENMAX Energy's retail plan for electricity and natural gas. The second group covers customers on the regulated rate, which became the Rate of Last Resort on January 1, 2025, and customers who only receive municipal services such as water, sewer, and waste and recycling. Which group you are in decides how you can pay.
Bill lookup and paperless billing
To go paperless, sign in and select Go paperless on the banner at the top of the screen. You need the ENMAX account number and the phone number or site ID from a bill. New bills then arrive as email alerts, and past bills stay viewable and downloadable online. The payment history page lists up to 24 months of payments, which can take up to five days to appear.
Ways to pay
- ENMAX account: the Payment options page covers one-time payments and pre-authorized setup.
- Internet or telephone banking: add ENMAX as a payee.
- Phone: Customer Care or the 24/7 ENMAX Virtual Assistant at 310-2010, or 1-877-571-7111 from outside Alberta.
- In person: the Calgary City Cashier in the Municipal Building, 800 Macleod Trail S.E.
Easymax customers can pay with Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard or Mastercard Debit, only online while signed in or through the virtual assistant. American Express isn't accepted, and ENMAX asks you never to send card details by email or chat.
Pre-authorized payments
Easymax customers can set up pre-authorized payments from a bank account or a credit card. Rate of Last Resort and municipal-only customers set them up from a bank account. Use your ENMAX account or call 310-2010, keeping in mind the team can't set up card payments by phone. A 2.00% late payment charge applies to current charges still unpaid after the due date. The bill keeps coming with pre-authorized payments on, and it shows what each withdrawal paid for.
ENMAX bills beyond the 24-month list
Asking a chat agent for a three-year-old bill is slow when a lender wants it today. Connect your ENMAX login and our AI agent downloads each new PDF with bill fetching. Paperless alerts can be captured with email receipt capture, and a Calgary rental's power, gas and city services bills stay together for tax receipts.
