How to download a Just Energy bill

Where your Just Energy bill comes from depends on the province. In Alberta, Just Energy bills you directly, and you register an online account to view bills and usage history, pay, and set up autopay and Ebill. For British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan, Just Energy tells customers to contact their utility about payment methods. Its billing page explains that depending on the area, you may get separate bills from the utility and Just Energy, or a single bill from the utility.
My Account
Just Energy's My Account is at account.justenergy.com. To sign up, enter your email, account number, billing postal code and a password. The account number is at the top of the bill, above your name and address. Once in, you can view and pay bills, turn on paperless billing, set up automatic payments and follow your usage. If your province isn't offered at login, Just Energy says your account is managed by your local utility.
Bill lookup and Ebill
Ebill is free and sends an electronic copy of the bill to your email every month. Turn it on in My Account under current services by choosing paperless billing and email delivery. Ahead of a possible Canada Post labour disruption starting Friday, September 26, Just Energy asked Canadian customers to check their email address and switch to email bills.
Paying a Just Energy bill in Alberta
- Online: through your registered account.
- Automated phone line: open 24/7, for Visa or Mastercard.
- Bank: bring the payment stub to a branch, or add Just Energy Alberta L.P. as a payee in online banking.
- Mail: cheque or money order with the stub, in the envelope provided.
Pre-authorized debit (PAD) in Alberta
PAD lets Just Energy withdraw the amount owed on the bill's due date. The withdrawal request goes to your bank the day before. Sign up by emailing Customercare@justenergy.com, or call 866-587-8674 for help with pre-authorized payments. The bill is still issued every month under PAD, and it is the copy to file.
British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan
For these provinces, Just Energy's billing page points you to your utility for payment methods. Ontario customers can also reach Just Energy at 1-833-757-1613 or cs@justenergy.com. When the supply charges come on the utility's bill, that utility bill is your record of them.
Just Energy charges wherever they are billed
Some Just Energy customers get a Just Energy bill, others find the charges on a utility bill. Ebill copies sent to your inbox can be filed with email receipt capture, and an Alberta online account can be connected so our AI agent fetches each bill with bill fetching. Either route puts the supply charges in one place for tax receipts.
