Under the Billing tab, click History and choose from and to dates. The same screen switches between payment history, statement of account, Equal Payment Plan history and loan history. Manitoba Hydro notes that the statement of account is often used when you need a listing of your charges for tax purposes.

How to pay

Manitoba Hydro doesn't accept e-transfers, credit cards, cash, phone or in-person payments at this time. The options are:

• Bank or credit union: online, adding Manitoba Hydro as a payee with your 14-digit account number, or in person by cheque, cash or bank draft.
• Bill payment services: cash or debit at select MoneyGram (Canada Post), Money Mart and Northern Store locations.
• Cheque: with your 14-digit account number, in the drop box at the Winnipeg head office or by mail.

Pre-authorized Payment Plan

The plan withdraws your bill amount from your bank account on its due date, and your account must be up to date to join. Log in, go to Billing, select Pre-authorized Payment Plan and click Apply, or use the PDF application form. If a withdrawal bounces, a second attempt follows in 5 to 10 business days, and a second failure brings a $20 NSF fee. NSF fees two months in a row cancel the plan. You can cancel online or by contacting Manitoba Hydro with at least one day's notice. Each bill is still issued on the plan and is what you keep.

Equal Payment Plan and moving

The Equal Payment Plan sets equal monthly payments from your past use, starting in September and balancing out in August. If you move within Manitoba and your bank stays the same, the account keeps the banking details at the new address, though the withdrawal date may shift.
