How to download a past Enbridge Gas bill

Past bills

1. Sign in to My Account. Register first if you have not.
2. Open the Account Activity tile.
3. Use the filters to list your bills.
4. Select the bill link on a row to view or download a copy.

Payments for the same 24 months are searchable in the same tile.

eBill with a PDF attached

New customers are enrolled in eBill unless they opt out. Enbridge emails or texts you when a bill is ready, and you can choose to have the bill attached as a PDF, with no login needed. To change it, go to Manage My Account, My Bill Options, then Update Billing Preferences.

The main charges

Gas costs appear on the Gas Supply Charge and Cost Adjustment lines. Transportation appears as Transportation to Enbridge. The customer charge covers meter reading, customer service and emergency response. Bills are due 20 days after the bill date.

Annual gas use statement for taxes

1. Sign in and go to the My Gas Use tab.
2. Select View annual gas use statement for taxes.
3. View and download the PDF.

Large business accounts

Large-volume contract customers (account numbers starting with 7, 8 or 93) register for eBill through a separate form sent to Enbridge's large business accounts team.

Gas bills and a home office

If you claim part of your heating as a home office or business cost, keep each bill: it shows the HST charged. The annual statement summarizes the year; the monthly bills are the supporting receipts.

Paying an Enbridge Gas bill and pre-authorized payment

In My Account, select Make a Payment and the full bill amount is withdrawn from your bank account. Through your own online banking, add Enbridge Gas Inc. as the payee the first time. Cards go through KUBRA EZ-PAY: Mastercard, Visa or Visa Debit, never prepaid, up to $5,000, with a 1.75% charge that appears as a separate item on your card statement.

With pre-authorized payment, the balance due comes out of your bank account on each due date; sign in to My Account to sign up. The Equal Monthly Payment Plan is a separate option that spreads the year's gas costs over 12 months.

A business paying by card ends up with two lines on its statement, the bill and the 1.75% charge, and neither shows the HST. File the PDF bill from the eBill email or My Account for every period, including the months the withdrawal happens without you.

Enbridge bills filed as PDFs arrive

Enbridge is one of the few utilities that will attach the bill PDF to the email, and with that option on, email receipt capture files the actual bill from your inbox, HST included, without a login. If you prefer to leave email out of it, connect My Account and our AI agent signs in after each bill date, saves the bill and, once a year, the annual gas use statement, through bill fetching. Both land ready for tax time.
