How to download a past Con Edison bill

Con Edison keeps your past bills in My Account, under Bill History & Assistance, where you can view and download them and see your billing trends.
Past bills online
- Log in to My Account on coned.com.
- Open Bill History & Assistance.
- Select the bill to view and download it.
In the Con Edison app
The Con Edison app shows your current and past bills, and lets you sign up for paperless eBill and automatic payments.
Paperless eBill and alerts
With eBill, Con Edison emails you when a bill is ready instead of mailing paper. My Account can also send email or text alerts when a bill is ready, due or paid. Enrol from My Account or the app.
Moving into a new place
Prospective renters and buyers can request up to 24 months of past energy bills for an address through Con Edison's Request Past Energy Bills page. The report arrives within 10 business days.
Usage data
For energy use rather than bills, Green Button Download gives you usage data as a spreadsheet, and smart meter data can be downloaded as CSV or XML.
Commercial accounts
Commercial customers paying by card through Con Edison's online payment system are charged a percentage fee on the payment. Factor that in if you pay a business account by card.
Utility bills for a home office
If part of your apartment is your office, keep each bill as the record of what you paid. Download them as they are issued instead of reconstructing the year in April.
Paying your Con Edison bill and setting up automatic payments
Log in to pay from a bank account or a card, or choose Pay as a guest to skip the login. The Con Edison app and the 24-hour line at 1-888-925-5016 take the same methods. A check or money order payable to Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. goes to Con Edison, JAF Station, P.O. Box 1702, New York, NY 10116-1702. Authorized payment agents take cash with no fee, and Walk-in Centers in the five boroughs and Westchester accept exact payments on weekdays.
For automatic payments, sign up online to have each bill paid from your bank account, or log in first to check whether your account is eligible. The same phone number handles enrollment.
Automatic payment does not replace the bill. The statement shows the usage, the charges and the service address, and for a home office or a rental unit that is the page the claim depends on.
Con Edison bills that arrive on their own
Turn on eBill and the bill-ready email becomes the trigger: email receipt capture picks it up from your inbox each month. To keep the PDF itself, connect My Account and our AI agent signs in, opens Bill History and saves the new bill, through bill fetching. The home office share is ready to calculate when you file.
