FPL

Florida Power & Light shows past bills through FPL eBill. Once you are enrolled, you can view, download and print up to 24 months of bill statements from your FPL account or the FPL Mobile App. Enrolling takes three steps after you log in, and the FPL Mobile App and FPL.com also take payments.

Enrolling in FPL eBill

  1. Log in to your FPL account.
  2. Confirm or update your email address.
  3. Finish enrolling. FPL eBill starts with your next bill.

The current bill on the account can still come by mail. Business accounts, for example, receive one last bill by U.S. Mail after enrolling.

What eBill changes

FPL sends a notice by email, text or through the FPL Mobile App when the bill is ready, and a reminder in case you miss a payment. eBill changes how the bill reaches you, not how you pay it: keep your preferred payment method, or combine eBill with FPL Automatic Bill Pay and FPL Budget Billing. FPL protects eBill account information with 256-bit encryption.

Finding a past statement

FPL describes eBill as a recordkeeping tool: browse and print up to 24 months of statements from anywhere. On FPL's help page, the account links include View your bill and View billing & payment history, which is where an older month is found.

Bill-ready text messages

Text alerts are a separate opt-in. They tell you a bill is ready and remind you before it is due, and you can adjust these preferences after enrolling.

FPL business accounts

Businesses use the same eBill program, with the same 24 months of statements to view and print. In the FPL Mobile App you can view, download or pay the bill, and the projected bill feature gives an early look at the next one.

Paying your FPL bill and FPL Automatic Bill Pay

FPL lets you pay for free from a bank account on FPL.com or by phone, and in the FPL Mobile App once you log in. Card payments run through Speedpay, and Guest Pay takes a debit or credit card without an account. Retail partners, your bank's bill pay and a mailed check round out the list.

FPL Automatic Bill Pay is free and deducts the bill from a bank account each month:

  1. Log in, or create an FPL.com account with your account number and the last four digits of your Social Security or Tax ID number.
  2. Enter your bank routing and account numbers.
  3. Choose a withdrawal day 11 to 20 days after the bill date (11 if you skip it) and confirm.

Pay any current balance yourself. Drafts begin with the first bill marked "Do Not Pay", and that bill is still the one to file: it lists the kilowatt-hours and charges an expense claim rests on.

FPL statements kept beyond 24 months

FPL pitches eBill as a way to organize your financial records, yet the online archive stops at two years. Connect your FPL account and our AI agent signs in after each bill-ready notice and saves the statement through bill fetching. The eBill email itself can be filed by email receipt capture, and the statements flow into expense reports for a Florida office, shop or rental.
