To download an E-ZPass New York statement, log in at e-zpassny.com with your username, account number or 11-digit tag number, scroll to the bottom of the account page, select Statements, enter a start and end date, and pick the statement you need. A Tolls by Mail bill is found separately on the Manage & Pay Toll Bill/Violation page. The steps below are for E-ZPass New York accounts.
Statements, step by step
- On e-zpassny.com, open the E-ZPass menu and choose Login to your E-ZPass Account.
- Sign in with your username, account number or tag number and your password.
- Scroll down and select Statements.
- Enter a start and end date and select Search.
- Choose a statement date to open it, then save or print it.
The MTA uses these same statements as the proof drivers need for the Central Business District toll tax credit, which shows how much detail each one carries.
Tolls by Mail bill lookup
Go to e-zpassny.com/tbm/pay-toll, enter the account number, toll bill number or violation number, add the plate or tag number, and search. A Toll Bills section near the bottom lists past bills by date range. Each bill opens on its own. Save the ones you paid.
Paying a toll bill and late fees
The MTA takes payment online through Tolls by Mail, by phone at 800-333-8655, and by mail or in person by check, card, bank account or cash. For MTA bridges and tunnels, a bill unpaid 30 days after the bill date adds a $5 late fee, rising to $50 per unpaid toll after 60 days. If your E-ZPass balance dipped below zero and a toll bill followed, pay it from your funded account with Resolve Toll Bill (E-ZPass Customers).
Disputing a bill
Send the coupon from the first page of the bill with supporting proof: a bill of sale if you sold the car, a police report if it was stolen, or a plate surrender receipt if you turned in the plate. Any other reason needs documents that back it up. For a replacement Tolls by Mail bill, call 844-826-8400.
E-ZPass statements collected for you
An E-ZPass statement mixes bridges, tunnels and congestion pricing lines, and tax time is when people go hunting for a year of them. Connect your e-zpassny.com login and our AI agent pulls each statement as it posts, through bill fetching. A paper Tolls by Mail bill can go in through the receipt scanner, and work trips feed your expense reports.
