AT&T

To download an AT&T bill, sign in to myAT&T, select View my bill and choose Download for a PDF, or View/Print for a copy ready to print. You see every bill linked to the AT&T ID you signed in with. A missing bill usually means you used another ID, such as a work account.

Getting the PDF

  1. Sign in to myAT&T with your AT&T ID and password.
  2. Select View my bill. You see all bills linked to the ID you signed in with.
  3. Choose Download for a PDF, or View/Print for a PDF ready to print.

If you only need to print the current bill, you can also open it from the balance card on the myAT&T home page and use your browser's print option.

If a bill is missing

Check that you signed in with the right AT&T ID. Each ID only shows the bills linked to it, which catches out people with a personal and a work account. If you have AT&T Internet Air, look in Account activity instead.

Company fees versus government taxes

AT&T bills split extra charges into two groups:

  • Company fees and surcharges, such as the Administrative Fee and the Regulatory Cost Recovery Charge. AT&T says these are its own charges, not taxes the government requires it to collect.
  • Government fees and taxes, billed as required by law and passed on to the agencies.

Taxes follow your primary place of use, which is why a line used in another state can carry different taxes.

Paperless billing

Paperless billing sends an alert when a new bill is ready, and AT&T has offered a monthly discount for combining paperless billing with AutoPay on eligible plans.

myAT&T for Business

On myAT&T for Business, sign in, select Bill & Payments and choose Bill History. Up to 36 months of bills are kept online. Copies of older bills can be requested from AT&T, and a convenience fee may apply. Larger accounts on AT&T's Premier portal can download a PDF image identical to the paper invoice, and administrators can switch accounts to paperless in bulk.

Paying your AT&T bill and setting up AutoPay

Signed in at att.com/pay or in the myAT&T app, pick the account and pay; online payments post within minutes. AT&T fastpay skips the sign-in: enter your phone or account number and billing ZIP code. The automated line at 800.331.0500, or 611 from an AT&T phone, is free, while paying through an agent adds a convenience fee.

To turn on AutoPay:

  1. Open the Payment Center in your AT&T account and select the account.
  2. Under AutoPay & paperless billing, select AutoPay and follow the prompts.
  3. Repeat for any other account.

With paperless billing on, a bank account or the AT&T Points Plus Card from Citi earns $10 a month per wireless line, a debit card $5 and other credit cards nothing. AutoPay can take two bill periods to start; keep paying until the bill reads "AutoPay is scheduled". That paperless bill, saved as a PDF, is the copy an expense report needs.

AT&T bills on file without the monthly login

AT&T posts a bill on the same day each month behind a login, which is exactly what bill fetching handles. Connect myAT&T and our AI agent signs in when each bill is ready, downloads the PDF and records the plan charges, company fees and taxes separately. The paperless bill-ready alert can go to a mailbox that email receipt capture watches, which gives you a second record and a heads-up. Your accountant gets every month instead of the three you remembered to download.
