Waste Connections

Waste Connections keeps past bills in MyAccount, its customer portal. Register once, sign in, and open your statement history to see earlier bills, or your payment history to confirm what was paid. The same login is where automatic payments are set up and where billing notifications are managed.

Getting into MyAccount

Start from the Pay My Bill page on wasteconnections.com. New users choose Register now; existing users choose Log in to MyAccount. Waste Connections operates through local companies, and some local pages, such as the one for Angleton, Texas, link to their own online bill pay. If your bill names a local site, follow that link first.

Statement lookup in MyAccount

The portal page lists four tools once you are signed in:

  • Set up and manage automatic payments
  • View statement history
  • View payment history
  • Manage billing notifications and preferences

Statement history is the place to pull an old bill for a lease file or an owner report. Payment history answers a narrower question: did a given payment go through, and when. The WasteConnect mobile app is a separate tool. Waste Connections describes it as handling collection reminders, delay alerts and disposal guidance, not bills.

Paying a Waste Connections bill

  • One-time payment: the Make a Payment link takes a single payment without setting anything up.
  • By phone: you need your account number before you call.
  • By mail: use the Locations page to find the address of the office that serves you.
  • At the office: the same Locations page lists where to pay in person.

The main site prints no single national phone number or remittance address. Check the bill itself for the right one.

Automatic payments

Turning on automatic payments in MyAccount only changes how the balance is settled. A statement is still issued each period, and that statement, with its service and surcharge lines, is what belongs in your records rather than the debit on the bank feed.

Reading the fee lines on an invoice

Waste Connections publishes a charges and fees page that explains each extra line. The fuel surcharge follows diesel prices. The environmental and regulatory surcharge recovers compliance costs across its operations. Administrative or invoice fees pay for producing and delivering invoices and for processing payments. Container fees cover supplying, maintaining or swapping bins, with one same-size exchange a year included where that applies. Quebec accounts can also carry a landfill levy charge. Lines are sometimes combined, and amounts depend on the affiliate, the service location and the contract.

Waste Connections statements for every property

A landlord with five buildings can end up with five MyAccount statements to save every cycle. Hand the MyAccount login to bill fetching and our AI agent collects every new statement, sorted by building. A statement that reaches your inbox instead goes through email receipt capture. The fuel and container lines then sit on the same document your accountant opens at tax time.
