Rocky Mountain Power's past bills are in My Account, in the Billing & payment history section. You can pay there for free from a checking or savings account, or without signing in through Pay as a Guest using your account number and ZIP code. Auto Pay draws the bill from your bank account on its due date.
Finding a bill: the Billing & payment history lookup
Sign in to My Account and open Billing & payment history. New users register online first, and anyone without an electric service account can call 1-888-221-7070. The mobile app shows bills too. Paperless bill notices come from accountnotices@rockymountainpower.net. Add that address to your safe senders list if they stop arriving, and confirm the email on file.
Paying without the convenience fee
Card and electronic check payments go through an independent provider that charges $1.99 per residential transaction and $7.99 per business transaction. Rocky Mountain Power keeps none of it. To skip the fee, sign in to My Account and make a one-time payment, or schedule recurring ones, from your checking or savings account. Online payments are processed within 48 hours and can take two business days to appear.
Text, phone, gift and pay-station payments
- Text: with one electric account and one saved bank account, text PAY to 759677 after saving your text number in My Account.
- Phone: 1-800-672-2405 through Paymentus, fee charged.
- Gift payment: pay any amount toward a relative's or friend's account.
- Pay stations and drop boxes: fees may apply.
- Mail: Rocky Mountain Power, PO Box 26000, Portland, OR 97256-0001.
- Businesses: Electronic Funds Transfer by ACH file, posted within 24 to 72 hours, with invoices by EDI, online or mail.
Auto Pay turns on paperless
Signing up for Auto Pay pays each bill from your bank account on the due date. The FAQ adds that automatic payments come with paperless billing. To pay automatically but still receive paper, call 1-800-538-4228. Update the bank account by signing in. A bill still posts every month, and it remains the document to keep for each charge.
Utah and Idaho paperless credit
Utah and Idaho customers earn a $0.50 credit every month on each account enrolled in paperless billing, up to $6 a year per account. Customers in other states can enroll but get no credit. Pacific Power, the sister utility, is covered in the Pacific Power guide.
Several Rocky Mountain Power accounts, one folder
Farms, rentals and small businesses on Rocky Mountain Power often hold more than one service account. Connect My Account and our AI agent signs in, opens Billing & payment history for each account and saves every bill through bill fetching. The paperless notices are filed by email receipt capture, and each bill can go straight into an expense report.
