NV Energy

NV Energy keeps 24 months of billing and payment history in MyAccount for paperless customers, and statements stay viewable there around the clock. Paying from a bank account in MyAccount or on the automated phone line is free. Debit and credit cards go through Paymentus for a small fee.

Paying NV Energy

  • Online: MyAccount with your bank account and routing number at no cost, or a card through Paymentus with a fee.
  • No MyAccount profile: the Pay by Credit Card page takes a card payment through Paymentus, fees apply.
  • Phone: free from a bank account on the automated system, or by card with a fee.
  • In person: about 200 kiosk and Shop & Pay locations at retailers across Nevada. Card payments there carry fees.
  • Mail: a check or money order with the bill stub in the return envelope, usually processed in 3 to 5 business days.
  • CheckFree: through the bill pay section of your bank's website.

Automatic Monthly Payments

NV Energy withdraws the bill from checking or savings on the date it is due. A credit card can be used instead, with possible fees. The program is open to residential and commercial customers with a current account and no more than one returned check in 12 months. Any unpaid deposit is waived.

Bills keep arriving and look the same, except for a "Do Not Pay" message stating the amount to be deducted. Keep paying as usual until that message appears. To change bank details, open Account Overview in MyAccount. To stop, use the Automatic Monthly Payments menu item, or write in with your name, address and 19-digit account number. The bill marked "Do Not Pay" is still the one to file.

Bill history lookup in MyAccount

Enrolling in paperless billing brings alerts by your preferred method when an e-bill is ready, the e-bill itself in MyAccount on desktop or mobile, and 24 months of billing and payment history. The MyAccount menu also lists Account History. Once enrolled, the paper bill stops.

Equal Pay, FlexPay and summary billing

Equal Pay spreads costs into predictable amounts, with a Summer Saver version in southern Nevada. FlexPay is prepaid energy in northern Nevada with no deposit, credit check or late fees. Select Your Due Date is set by phone. Business customers can merge several accounts into one statement with Summary Billing.

NV Energy bills before the 24 months run out

MyAccount drops bills older than two years, which can catch out anyone documenting a Las Vegas rental or a Reno shop for taxes. Connect MyAccount and our AI agent signs in and saves each e-bill as it posts through bill fetching. The e-bill alerts are filed by email receipt capture, and each one is ready for an expense report.
