How to download a past National Fuel bill

National Fuel's bill pay portal takes one-time payments without registration. You need your account number, ZIP code, your most recent bill and your payment details. Registered customers also get AutoPay, billing and payment history, and bills in PDF format that can be printed. The portal serves National Fuel's gas customers in western New York and northwestern Pennsylvania.
One-time payment without registering
Registration is not required for a one-time payment. Accepted methods are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, an electronic check from checking or savings, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo. Registering adds saved payment details, history and AutoPay.
Billing history lookup in the portal
Once registered and logged in, open your bills as PDFs to view or print. Payments appear under Account Balance History or the Payment History tab. National Fuel keeps 24 months of payment history as its standard retention period. The FAQ doesn't say how many months of bills stay in the portal.
AutoPay and paperless billing
To enroll in AutoPay, log in and click AutoPay. Bills are then paid each billing cycle on their due dates from your default card or bank account. To stop, go to Payments, then AutoPay, and select Unenroll from AutoPay. A new bill still posts every cycle, and that PDF is the one your records need.
Paperless billing sends bills, reminders and receipts by email, with a notice each time a new bill is ready. Turn it on or off under Billing, then Paperless Billing.

National Fuel winter bills, all in one place
Heating bills in Buffalo or Erie swing hard between seasons, and the winter months are the ones worth keeping. Connect the bill pay portal and our AI agent signs in and saves each PDF bill through bill fetching. The paperless emails, receipts included, are filed by email receipt capture, and each bill can go on an expense report.
