Moneris merchant statements are in the online portal at moneris.com/mymerchantdirect, which Moneris names both Merchant Direct and Moneris Portal. Sign in, click Monthly Statement under Reports, choose the account and the statement month, and click View. The full statement exports to PDF, and individual sections export to CSV.
Statement lookup by month
- Sign in at moneris.com/mymerchantdirect with your user ID and password.
- Under Reports, click Monthly Statement.
- Select the account or accounts.
- Choose the month in the Statement Date field and click View.
One calendar month shows at a time, and data goes back 7 years. Chain merchants can view the statement for the whole chain as well as for each location. The report cannot be customized, but each section exports to CSV on its own when you only want, for example, the fee summary in a spreadsheet.
What the statement covers
The Monthly Merchant Statement shows the month's deposits and fees. Its sections include the fee summary, interchange and wholesale discount fees, assessment and other card fees, transaction fees, service fees, the chargeback summary, a daily activity summary and your effective merchant discount rate. Head office and chain profiles also get monthly totals by merchant and a tax breakdown by province. A chart tracks net sales over the past six months.
Stopping paper statements
Statements can arrive by mail. The Update Your Profile feature in the portal lets you opt out of paper statements and change the email, phone number, contact name, addresses or operating-as business name on file.
Reports for daily balancing
The monthly statement is the fee record. For day-to-day work, the Daily Batch Summary helps balance sales, and Transaction Search finds the details of a single card payment.
Moneris fees ready for month end
Card processing fees are a real business expense, yet the bank feed only shows net deposits until someone pulls the statement. With your Merchant Direct login, our AI agent downloads the Monthly Statement PDF each month through bill fetching. Its fee summary belongs with your tax receipts. Merchants still getting paper statements can photograph each page with the receipt scanner until the opt-out takes effect.
