How to download a past JEA bill

With a jea.com online account you can view and download 24 months of past JEA statements at any time, whether you get eBill or a mailed bill. Customers without an account pay through JEA Guest Pay using a JEA account number. AutoPay withdraws the balance from your bank account on the due date.
Statement lookup in your jea.com account
Sign in and open the bill pages in the account menu, which include Bill History and a Bill Viewer. To switch to eBill, go to Bill Delivery Options, select Enroll in eBill and click Submit. The next bill-ready notice arrives by email at about the time the paper bill would have, with a link to the bill in your account. You can still pay by any method.
Guest Pay and paying someone else's bill
Guest Pay takes a bank account or card for any active JEA account and works only for utility services, not deposits. To pay for another customer without their account number, enter the account holder's last name, service address and amount. KUBRA Boost creates a link you can share with family or roommates. Each person then pays part or all of the bill.
Card fees and other ways to pay
Since September 30, 2024, online and phone card payments carry a vendor fee: $2.35 up to $400, $8.95 from $400.01 to $1,000 and $40.00 from $1,000.01 to $2,500. Bank account, cash and check payments stay free.
- Phone: (904) 665-6000, 24/7, posted immediately.
- In person: the Downtown Customer Center, or an authorized payment location credited within one hour.
- Mail: JEA, P.O. Box 45047, Jacksonville, FL 32232-5047.
- Scheduled: bank payments up to 30 days ahead, cancellable before 11 a.m. on the day.
AutoPay and Fast Pay
To enroll in AutoPay, the account must have no outstanding balance and no payment extension plan. It begins on the next billing cycle. When the bill is prepared it already shows the payment as made, though the bank withdrawal waits until the due date. That bill, rather than the bank line, is what documents the month's utilities.
Fast Pay is the card alternative. JEA emails you each month to confirm the amount, and one click pays it with the saved card. Set it up from the Online Bill Pay page: click Pay by Credit/Debit, then choose Fast Pay from the menu on the JEA Online Payments page.
JEA statements, two years and beyond
JEA bills can carry both electric and water charges, and a Jacksonville rental owner usually needs every one on file. Connect your jea.com account and our AI agent signs in and saves each statement through bill fetching. The eBill emails are filed by email receipt capture, and each statement is ready for an expense report.
