How to pay and download a Google Fiber bill

Google Fiber, renamed gFiber, charges your primary payment method automatically on the bill's due date. To download a statement on the web, open Billing Info, click Manage payments, then View statements under Statements, and click Download to save it as a PDF. In the app, the same statements are under Account, then Billing Info.
Google Fiber is now gFiber
Google's old Fiber help links now redirect to gfiber.com, where the footer announces that Google Fiber is now gFiber. The account, the app and the billing steps carry the new name.
How paying a gFiber bill works
At the start of each billing cycle, gFiber emails you a link to that month's bill. On the due date, it charges your primary payment method. Major credit cards, debit cards and automated bank transfers (ACH) are accepted. The due date is tied to the day your service was activated and cannot be changed.
gFiber recommends keeping both a primary and a secondary payment method. If the first card expires or is lost, the second one keeps service running.
Paying before the due date
- Sign in to the gFiber app or web portal.
- Go to Billing Info and choose Manage payments.
- Select Make payment.
A receipt goes to your registered email after a manual payment. gFiber points out that you only need this if you want to pay early after the statement generates. For a suspended or delinquent account, paying the full balance reinstates service.
Statements in the gFiber app
- Sign in and open the Account tab. The amount due shows under Billing info.
- Tap Manage payment.
- Scroll to Recent statements and tap one, or tap View all.
- Use the Date range dropdown to filter by period.
The record to keep
Because the charge is automatic, many customers only ever see the card line. The statement PDF is the better record: it shows the plan and any local access fee, which the card statement does not.
gFiber statements caught from the inbox
gFiber's monthly email with the bill link is the easiest hook. Send it to email receipt capture, or let bill fetching sign in to your gFiber account and download each statement. Both land in one place for tax time.
