Metronet

Pay a Metronet bill without logging in through Quick Pay, which starts on a Find my bill screen, or sign in to the myMetronet Portal at metronet.com/portal. The portal is also where Metronet gives online access to invoices and automatic payments. A 24/7 automated payment line runs at 866-517-3712.

Quick Pay and the payment line

Quick Pay is Metronet's guest option: open the Quick Pay link on Metronet's support page and find your bill there. For a phone payment, the automated line at 866-517-3712 is open 24 hours a day. Customer care is at 877-407-3224.

Setting up autopay in the portal

  1. Log in to the myMetronet Portal.
  2. Open the Bill Pay dropdown and select Manage Automatic Payments.
  3. Select ENABLE AUTOPAY.
  4. Choose Enter New Checking/Savings Account, pick checking or savings and fill in the fields.
  5. Select NEXT, then confirm with ENABLE AUTOPAY.

Signing up with a checking or savings account within 60 days of installation earns a $25 account credit, with terms at metronet.com/offer-details. Metronet warns that autopay deducts the full amount due each month, which can vary; if you don't want variable withdrawals, it suggests not turning autopay on. Your invoice still lists the charges each month and remains the record to keep. Saved cards and accounts are under Bill Pay, then Manage Payment Methods.

Paying through your bank: the new payee

Metronet changed the payee name for online bank bill pay. Older payees such as Metro Fibernet LLC, Cinergy Metronet or Jaguar Communications MN should be replaced with "METRONET 630546", PO Box 630546, Cincinnati, OH 45263-0546. If you don't update, the payment still arrives but staff must apply it by hand, which can delay it. Customers on portal autopay don't need to change anything, and mailed checks are payable to "Metronet".

Returned payments

If a payment is dishonored, Metronet suspends service and adds a $25 insufficient funds fee to the balance.

The final invoice after you cancel

A refund of any credit is based on the final invoice. Metronet asks for refund requests within 60 days of receiving that final invoice.

Metronet invoices pulled from the portal

The portal holds the invoices, but only if someone signs in and saves them. Bill fetching has our AI agent log in to myMetronet each cycle and file the new invoice. That keeps a full year ready for a home office expense report or tax season.
