How to pay Metro by T-Mobile and download statements

Metro by T-Mobile lets you pay for free in the myMetro app or online, either logged in or with Pay as a guest. Statements are in My Account under Account Options, then Account History, then Review Balance & Statements, where you can download them. In the app, payment history is under the Manage tab.
One-time payments
A one-time payment in the app or online is free. Metro also texts a payment reminder with your balance, account number and due date, unless the account has a credit. Paying in person at a Metro by T-Mobile store is possible too, but Metro charges an in-store payment fee at the counter.
AutoPay and the $5 saving
AutoPay charges your credit or debit card three days before the due date, and Metro says it can save up to $5 per account.
- In the myMetro app: select Payments, enter the payment details, select the card and choose Turn on AutoPay.
- Online: log in to My Account, select Pay Now, enter the details and check Use this card for AutoPay, then Agree and submit payment.
AutoPay takes effect three days before your next due date. Cards are kept in the Payment Wallet: from the My Account drop-down, open Profile, then Add Payment Method or the expand arrow to edit one. AutoPay does not replace the statement. Download it each month, since it is the only page that shows the plan and taxes together.
Downloading Metro statements
- Log in to My Account on the website.
- Go to Account, then Account Options, then Account History.
- Choose Review Balance & Statements, then Download Statements.
Payment history in the myMetro app

- Scroll to Additional Tasks and select View Payment History.
- Select View on any bill to open it.
Metro statements on file
A Metro line used for work needs a statement each month, and the download sits three menus deep. Bill fetching has our AI agent sign in to My Account and save each statement for you. Attach them to an expense report when your employer reimburses the phone.
