Google Fi

Google Fi doesn't mail bills. Each statement is emailed at the end of the billing cycle and also kept in the Billing tab of the Google Fi app and website, newest at the top. Expand or tap a statement and select Download at the top right to save it.

On the Google Fi website

  1. Open the Google Fi website and go to the Billing tab.
  2. Expand the statement you want. Past statements are listed below the latest one.
  3. Click Download at the top right.

In the Google Fi app

  1. Open the Google Fi app and go to the Billing tab.
  2. Tap the statement you want.
  3. Tap Download at the top right.

Inside a statement, tap a person's name to see that user's charges, with every change listed on the Summary tab. Overall or Daily shows data use for the statement period.

Your inbox as a backup archive

Because Fi emails a statement at the end of every cycle, your inbox already holds a month-by-month copy. Searching it for Google Fi is often the quickest way to find a month you missed in the app. Google notes that settings and features may vary by device, which is one more reason to keep the email.

The AI billing summary

The Home tab can show an AI summary explaining what changed since last month. It is only available for 10 days after the bill is generated, and Google warns that it can give incorrect information. For an expense claim or a dispute, rely on the detailed statement.

After closing your Fi account

Once the account is closed, bills are reached through Google Pay instead of the Fi app.

  1. Go to payments.google.com.
  2. Open Subscriptions and services, then Canceled.
  3. Select Manage next to Google Fi.
  4. Choose View statements, then Download.

Paying your Google Fi bill: automatic payment and paying early

Google Fi has no autopay switch to find, because automatic payment is required. Ten days after each monthly statement becomes available, Fi charges the primary credit or debit card on the account, and that date cannot be changed. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted. Checks, bank transfers, prepaid cards, Google Pay balance and bank accounts linked to your Google Account are not.

To change the card, open the Billing tab in the app or on the website and select Payment method under Payment settings. The same screen lets you mark one card Primary and another Backup, which Fi charges if the primary card fails. To pay ahead, use the early payment option in the Payments section of the app's Billing tab; the payment shows up on the next statement.

Since Fi charges on its own schedule, the card line carries no detail. Match it to that cycle's statement, which lists the plan charges, extras and taxes.

Google Fi statements, by person and by month

The end-of-cycle statement email is the easy hook: email receipt capture files it the day the cycle closes. For the downloadable statement in the Billing tab, connect your Google Fi account and our AI agent saves it through bill fetching. On a group plan, Fi's per-person view makes it simple to claim only your own line in an expense report.
