FirstEnergy lists your bills from the last 12 months under Billing and Payment History in your online account, and View eBill opens each as a PDF if you are enrolled in eBill. To pay without logging in, enter your account number and ZIP code for a guest payment. One-time bank payments cost $0.50 and residential card payments $2.75, while AutoPay lists no service fee.
Bill history lookup and eBill PDFs
Log in, open Billing and Payment History and click View eBill in the last column to open a statement. The PDF files are only available to customers enrolled in eBill. To enroll, register for an online account and join eBill during registration, or log in, go to Billing and Payment Options, select Learn More and Enroll, and accept the terms.
Six states, one set of pages
FirstEnergy's pay pages serve customers in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia through a state selector, and Pennsylvania has its own ways-to-pay page. Check your state's version before counting on a fee.
Paying FirstEnergy and the fees
- Guest payment: account number and ZIP code, then a bank account, debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo or PayPal.
- One-time bank payment, online or by phone: $0.50 per transaction.
- One-time card payment, online or by phone: $2.75 per residential transaction. Business cards pay 2.75% of the payment.
- Mail: a check or money order with the payment stub.
- In person: cash, check or money order at authorized locations, with fees that vary by agency.
AutoPay to skip the one-time fees
AutoPay pays the monthly bill from a bank account or, for residential customers, a credit or debit card, and the ways-to-pay table lists no service fee for it. Business accounts can use a bank account only. The statement keeps appearing in Billing and Payment History each month, and that eBill is the copy worth keeping.
FirstEnergy bills older than 12 months
Twelve months of eBills covers one year and nothing earlier. Bill fetching has our AI agent log in to FirstEnergy each cycle and keep the eBill PDF, wherever in the six states the account sits. Bill notices can go to email receipt capture and yearly totals to tax receipts.
