How to download a Distributel bill

To download a Distributel bill, log in to MyAccount, choose Billing & Payment in the top menu, then View bills and other documents, and click the Download icon next to the bill date. Distributel keeps up to 18 months of invoices there, but only for customers registered for e-billing.
E-billing comes first
The bill archive in MyAccount is tied to e-billing. If the View bills page is empty, register for e-billing; bills issued after that will appear. Each bill can be opened, saved or printed once downloaded.
Downloading a bill
- Log in to MyAccount.
- From the top menu, select Billing & Payment, then View bills and other documents.
- If several accounts are registered, pick one from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Download icon next to the bill's date.
Paying a Distributel bill by credit card
- Log in to MyAccount.
- Open Billing & Payments and choose Make a Payment.
- Select the account if you have more than one.
- Pay the full amount due or enter another amount, then click Pay now.
- Enter your credit card details and click Pay Now to finish.
Distributel says you can make payments to your account at any time.
Changing your pre-authorized payments
Pre-authorized payments can run from a credit card or a bank account. To change the method:
- Log in to MyAccount.
- Select Billing & Payment, then Manage payment method.
- Choose the account, then the new method, enter the billing details and click Save.
Distributel advises keeping this information current to avoid rejected payments and service interruptions. Pre-authorized payments settle the balance, but the bill PDF remains the record of what you were charged, including GST or HST.
Several accounts in one MyAccount
Every MyAccount screen used above, from viewing bills to changing the payment method, starts with a drop-down when more than one account is registered to the login. If you pay for a home line and an office line, pick the right account before downloading, or the bills of the two will be easy to mix up at year end.
Distributel bills beyond 18 months
Bills that age past 18 months leave MyAccount. Bill fetching lets our AI agent sign in to Distributel's MyAccount each month and keep a copy of every new bill. Your archive then covers the full period needed for tax receipts and expense reports.
