How to download a Start.ca invoice

Start.ca invoices are in its customer portal. Log in at portal.start.ca, open My Account, select View Invoices, pick the year under Period, and click the invoice to save a copy. Payment is automatic: Start.ca takes it from the credit card or bank account you provided.
Downloading invoices by year
- Visit portal.start.ca and log in.
- Open the My Account menu and select View Invoices.
- Under Period, choose the year you need.
- Click the invoice you want to download.
The year filter makes it simple to pull a full year at once for a home office claim.
How paying Start.ca works
Start.ca does not ask you to pay each invoice by hand. Its FAQ says payment is taken automatically from the card or bank account on file. To change that method, use the customer portal or call 1-866-434-5888, where live support runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET. Each invoice is still issued and stays in View Invoices, and that invoice is the record to keep, not the card or bank line.
Setting up automatic card payments
- Log in at portal.start.ca.
- Open My Account and select Setup Credit Card Payments.
- Enter your card details and click Update Information.
Once saved, Start.ca confirms that your credit card payments are automated. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.
Automatic bank withdrawals
The portal also supports automatic withdrawals from a bank account, but Start.ca's guide doesn't list the steps. Call support at 1-866-434-5888 to set them up.
The invoice versus the card charge
With automatic payment, the only thing many Start.ca customers see each month is a line on a card or bank statement. That line shows an amount and a date. The invoice in View Invoices shows the service, the billing period and the sales tax, which is what an accountant or an employer will ask for. Download the invoice, then match it to the charge.
Start.ca invoices saved year after year
The Period filter helps, but only if you remember to visit. Bill fetching has our AI agent log in to the Start.ca portal and save each invoice as it appears. Twelve months of Start.ca invoices are then ready for tax season, or for an expense report when work pays part of the connection.
