ComEd keeps up to 24 months of bills to view, print or save once you sign in to My Account at ComEd.com. To pay, sign in and pay online, choose Pay as a Guest Online for a one-time payment without an account, call 1-800-588-9477, or mail a check. AutoPay takes the monthly bill from your bank account with no fee.
Bill lookup in My Bill Details
Sign in, open My Bill Details and download the bill you need. ComEd's residential rates booklet puts the window at up to 24 months of bills, available to view, print or save. That is two tax seasons, no more.
Paperless eBill
Enrollment needs an active utility account, a My Account login and a valid email address on record. In My Account, go to Billing Options and select Paperless eBill. ComEd then sends a monthly email when the new bill is ready to view.
Ways to pay ComEd
- Sign In & Pay Online: schedule a payment from a bank account or credit card.
- Pay as a Guest Online: a one-time payment without creating an online account.
- Phone: 1-800-588-9477 with a credit card, debit card or bank account. Business customers call 1-877-426-6331.
- Mail: a check payable to ComEd with your account number on it, sent to ComEd, P.O. Box 6111, Carol Stream, IL 60197-6111. Allow one week.
- Authorized agents: walk-in payment locations across the service territory, found with Find a Payment Location.
AutoPay and the due date extension
Enroll from the Automatic Payment page with your bank account details. ComEd applies no fees when AutoPay pays from your bank account, and the booklet says the payment is deducted on the date it is due. If you change banks, update the account in My Account. Eligible customers can also push a due date out by up to 21 days through Due Date Extension.
AutoPay does not stop the bill. It still arrives each month by email or mail, and it is the page that shows your usage and charges, which the bank withdrawal never will.
ComEd bills older than two years
Bill fetching sends our AI agent into your ComEd My Account each month to save the new bill, building a file that outlasts the 24-month window. Paperless eBill notices can be forwarded to email receipt capture, and the ComEd cost of a rental unit or a home office can go straight into expense reports.
