Columbia Gas runs a separate website for each state company, and fees and addresses differ between them. This guide follows Columbia Gas of Ohio, with notes for Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania. In Ohio you can make a one-time payment as a guest or log in to pay, and paperless customers view statements and history online.
Statement lookup and paperless billing
- Sign in to your online account, or register one.
- Go to Account Enrollments and select Paperless Billing.
- Confirm the email address and accept the terms and conditions.
Each month an email gives the amount and due date, and statements and history stay viewable online. Going paperless doesn't change how you pay.
Paying Columbia Gas of Ohio
- Bank account: after creating an online account, with your account and routing numbers.
- Card or wallet: credit, debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Venmo through Paymentus, with a $2.00 convenience fee. This works as a guest, without signing in.
- Your bank's bill pay: add Columbia Gas of Ohio as a payee for one-time or recurring payments.
- Phone: 1-866-694-1828, $2.00 per transaction.
- In person: authorized payment locations.
- Mail: account number on the check, to Columbia Gas of Ohio, P.O. Box 4629, Carol Stream, IL 60197-4629.
What changes in Pennsylvania
Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania uses the same 1-866-694-1828 line, but residential card, wallet and phone payments carry no fee there. Payments by mail go to Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, P.O. Box 70285, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0285. A one-time payment without an online account is available in Pennsylvania too.
AutoPay from checking or savings
AutoPay withdraws the total payment each month, current charges plus any past-due balance, from a checking or savings account. You still receive a monthly bill with your usage, payment amount and payment date. That bill is the record to keep for the month. Enroll from your account, or download the fillable AutoPay Application PDF and upload it. To cancel, log in, select Edit Enrollment, then Cancel Enrollment. Re-enroll the same way with new bank details.
Columbia Gas statements across state lines
Property managers with buildings in Ohio and Pennsylvania deal with two Columbia Gas logins and two sets of statements. Connect each account and our AI agent signs in and saves every statement through bill fetching. Paperless notices are filed by email receipt capture, and every bill is ready for an expense report.
