How to get Spotify receipts

To get a Spotify receipt, sign in to your account page on the web, open Payment history, choose the payment and select View receipts, then Download. Receipts cover about the last two years. Spotify emails only the first payment of a subscription, not each month.
Viewing and downloading
- Sign in to your account page on the web.
- Open Payment history.
- Choose the payment under Your payments, then Manage and View receipts. Clear any active filters if nothing appears.
- Select Download at the bottom of the receipt.
Which payments get an email
Spotify emails a receipt when a trial starts and when a new subscription makes its first payment. Later monthly payments generally do not arrive as an email. The account page is where those receipts are.
Tax in the price
Where it applies, VAT is included in the price at the moment of the transaction. That is why the amount on the receipt can differ slightly from the advertised price.
Duo and Family plans
On a shared plan, the plan manager pays the full amount, whoever joins, and the receipts are in the manager's account.
Paying through Google Play
The two-year view only covers active Google Play Billing subscriptions. For older receipts, contact Google.
Premium through a partner
If your Premium comes bundled through a phone or internet company, that partner handles the billing. Ask them for the receipt.
Spotify receipts saved after the first month
Since only the first payment of a subscription comes by email, email receipt capture catches the start and nothing after. To keep the monthly receipts, connect the Spotify account and our AI agent signs in after each payment and downloads the receipt from Payment history with bill fetching. A podcast producer or a sound designer can then expense Spotify like any other tool, and subscription tracking shows each price change.
