How to find a past ATCO Energy bill

ATCO Energy bills are in My Account on atcoenergy.com. When you log in, the redesigned account shows your current balance, your latest bill and your billing history. Business customers on ATCO Energy plans use the same My Account for past bills.
The redesigned My Account
ATCO Energy relaunched My Account in June 2026 and made the bill the easiest thing to find. Each bill comes with a graph of your energy use. The layout is built to work on a phone browser, and ATCO's announcement does not mention a separate billing app.
Choosing how you hear about a new bill
- Log in to My Account.
- Click Billing and open the Preferences tab.
- Under Billing Notifications, choose email, SMS or both.
The same Preferences tab holds Payment Details, where you change how you pay.
Paying an ATCO Energy bill and pre-authorized payments
ATCO Energy takes Mastercard and Visa, payments at your financial institution in person, online or by phone, and cheques payable to ATCOenergy mailed to ATCO Energy Ltd., PO Box 1240 STN Main, Edmonton AB T5J 2M4. In My Account, a one-time credit card payment takes a few steps: log in, choose the amount, confirm your details and finish.
My Account also sets up pre-authorized payments, by bank withdrawal or by credit card:
- Log in to My Account and click Billing.
- Open the Preferences tab.
- Under Payment Details, select the new payment option.
An installment option also splits the bill into equal monthly payments. Whatever the method, the bill in your billing history is the copy that shows the GST and the transmission and distribution charges, while a withdrawal on your bank statement shows only the total.
What an ATCO Energy bill includes
Besides the charge for the energy you used and ATCO Energy's administration fee, the bill carries regulated transmission and distribution charges, GST and other fees. If the account is for a business, that GST line is what your bookkeeper needs for the return.
Meter questions go elsewhere
ATCO Energy is your retailer. A wrong meter reading is handled by your distribution company, whose number is on the back of your bill. For billing questions, ATCO Energy's Home Energy line is 1-844-687-2826, open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm MST and Saturday from 8 am to 4:30 pm MST. Written questions can go to inquiries@atcoenergy.com.
ATCO Energy bills with the GST recorded
The billing history is easy to read but still one login per account. Link your ATCO Energy login and our AI agent checks the billing history whenever a bill posts, saves a copy and records the GST for tax time, through bill fetching. If you chose email notices under Billing Notifications, email receipt capture files those too.
