How to get an Albertsons receipt

The Albertsons consumer FAQ describes the lookup in one step: select the Purchases tab and pick a transaction from the last 120 days. Two conditions decide whether a trip lands there.

• You checked out with the app, paying from a linked bank account or an Albertsons Cash card.
• Your loyalty code was used at the register. Without it, Albertsons says the app shows no digital receipt, and you also miss the discounts and reward points.

Tapping your phone with Apple Pay or Google Pay takes a different route. Albertsons states that NFC payments do not generate a digital receipt, which leaves the printed slip as your only copy of those trips.

Pickup and delivery orders

When you order online, your card is first held for the Estimated Total. The real amount is set on the day of delivery or pickup, and the bank can take up to five business days to drop the hold. For an expense claim, use the final receipt, not the hold you see on your card.

Something missing or substituted? Tell the driver or the store associate at handoff, or phone Albertsons Customer Service at (877) 505-4040 within 48 hours. Qualifying refunds go back to the card you paid with. Baby formula, alcohol and tobacco from an online order can't be returned or refunded.

Refunds without a receipt

Bring the product and the receipt, and the Albertsons freshness guarantee pays you back in full on your original payment. Without the receipt, the terms change:

1. A refund over $10 needs a manager to approve it.
2. An approved refund comes as merchandise credit at the item's lowest selling price in the past 30 days.
3. Alcohol, cigarette and tobacco refunds always need a receipt.

The same page sets payout rules too: cash refunds of $20 or less are paid in cash, credit card refunds above $20 go back to the card account, and eWIC purchases are not refundable. For store-brand products, the Albertsons Companies Own Brands guarantee asks you to get in touch within 90 days with a receipt.

Vons, Jewel-Osco and Shaw's

Albertsons Companies runs more than 20 grocery banners, among them Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's and Acme. The fresh guarantee pages on vons.com, jewelosco.com and shaws.com repeat the $10 manager approval and the 30-day lowest-price credit exactly. A receipt from one of those three stores follows the steps above. Safeway gets a separate guide because it also operates in Canada under different rules.

Albertsons receipts past 120 days

The Purchases tab is a rolling window. A January grocery run is gone by May.
