Vultr invoices are in the customer portal under Account, then History in the BILLING section. Select an invoice, click the ellipsis icon on its right and choose PDF or CSV. Payments have their own receipts in the same list.
Download an invoice
- Sign in to the Vultr customer portal.
- Open Account and choose History under BILLING.
- Find the invoice in the invoice and payment history list.
- Click the ellipsis icon and pick PDF or CSV.
The same page shows the account balance, the current month's charges and any remaining credit.
Receipts for payments
An invoice says what you owe. A receipt shows what you paid. To get one, select the payment in the history list and click Show Receipt, then view or download it as a PDF. If you prepay with credit, the receipt for the top-up and the monthly invoice that drew it down are two separate records worth keeping.
Billing history by API or CLI
Vultr's API has a List Billing History endpoint for invoices and payments, and a Get Invoice endpoint for one invoice by ID. From the command line, vultr-cli billing history list and vultr-cli billing invoice get do the same. That is handy for exporting a year of records without clicking through each month.
USD only
Vultr issues invoices exclusively in US dollars and does not offer local currency billing. Your bank or payment provider converts the charge at its own rate and fees. For your books, the converted amount on your card statement is what left your account. Keep it alongside the USD invoice.
Ways to pay
Vultr takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and JCB cards, as well as PayPal, Alipay, UnionPay and several cryptocurrencies through BitPay. Depending on the region, PayPal can also route bank transfers and other local methods. Whichever you use, the invoice amount stays in USD.
