How to get a Backblaze invoice

Backblaze invoices come from the Billing page of the web console. Open Billing from the user menu in the upper-right corner, select the tab for your service, choose the year under Transactions, and select Print YTD Transactions to print or save the invoice.
Steps to print an invoice
- Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
- Open Billing from the user menu.
- Select the tab for B2 Cloud Storage or Computer Backup.
- Under Transactions, pick the year.
- Select Print YTD Transactions.
Printing to PDF gives you a file for the books. The record is year to date, which means one document can hold several months of charges.
How B2 Cloud Storage is charged
B2 storage and transaction charges are calculated every day at 12:00 AM UTC. Payment is due on your monthly billing anniversary, the same day of the month the account was created. An account opened on the 19th is charged around the 19th, not on the first.
Checking this month's estimate
On the B2 tab, click the triangle icon next to the billing date to expand an estimate of the current month's charges with a breakdown. Treat it as an estimate. The record for your books is the transaction once it is charged.
Backblaze Groups
These steps are for accounts that are not part of a Group. Group billing has its own Backblaze article, and companies that want to be charged by invoice or another method are directed to Backblaze Sales.
Two services, two tabs
An account using both B2 Cloud Storage and Computer Backup has a tab for each, with separate transactions. Print each tab if finance needs the whole picture. If your bookkeeper closes month by month, print the year-to-date record after each anniversary charge and keep the newest copy, which repeats every earlier month of the year.
Backblaze charges recorded each anniversary
Because Backblaze prints transactions year to date, month-end records are easy to skip. Connect the account and our AI agent saves the B2 transactions from Billing after each billing anniversary with bill fetching. subscription tracking shows storage growth as a monthly cost, and a personal Computer Backup license used for work can go in expense reports.
