Algolia invoices are in the dashboard under Settings, Billing, Invoices. Billing is tied to applications and their owner. The owner of an application controls who receives billing emails and enters the billing and payment details.
Getting an invoice
- Sign in to the Algolia dashboard.
- Select the application in the top-left dropdown.
- Go to Settings, Billing, Invoices.
If you have several applications, check that the right one is selected first.
Who receives billing emails
The application owner can add or remove the addresses that receive all billing-related emails from the billing section of the dashboard. Adding an accounts payable address there is how finance gets invoices without a dashboard login.
Company and payment details
An account that owns applications updates billing and payment information on the Billing Details page, and the change applies to every application it owns. People with Billing permissions on other applications can edit those too, after selecting the right application at the top left. An account that owns no applications uses the User Payment and Billing Details page, which applies to applications it owns later. Owners on a committed plan cannot edit these details themselves and raise a request with Algolia support.
How Grow plan usage adds up
On the Grow plan, charges come from two metrics, search requests and records, each with its own free allowance: 10,000 search requests and 100,000 records a month. Above that, requests and records are charged per thousand, and the three days with the most records are ignored. Unused allowance does not roll over. Budget alerts
Under Billing, Cost Management, you can set a budget and be notified if the projected invoice will exceed it. Bot traffic and runaway loops are the usual cause of a spike.
